This Morgan 4/4 four-seater left the Malvern factory with a Ford 1.6 CVH engine and 5 speed gearbox. First registered in June 1985 it remained in the ownership of the same family until 2020 when it was purchased by the current owner. MOT records show the Morgan displaying just 35,000 miles in 2008 and the car has covered only a few hundred miles since then. The current keeper bought this Morgan as a ‘Lockdown’ project and has overseen an extensive restoration that includes a new chassis and floorboards, new front & rear suspension, new front & rear brakes and new brake and fuel pipes. The engine has been overhauled with new oil and water pumps, new radiator & hoses, new exhaust manifold, cam belt, re-built carb, new starter motor and new oil seals & gaskets. A new clutch has been fitted along with new tyres, new petrol tank and powder coating to wheels, bumpers, cross frame and inner wings. The interior has been re-carpeted with new leather coverings to sills and gearbox & prop shaft covers and new seat belts fitted. The leather seats have been kept in their original condition as they retain a lovely patina of age. The car comes with tonneau cover, hood and side windows.
